Shibori patchwork quilt
Mickey and Lou shibori quilts are one of our super special items, a true labour of love. Each piece of linen for the quilt top is hand dyed then pieced together in an original design of which only one will ever exist!
We add a layer of bamboo/cotton quilting in the middle and back with a soft cotton.
Using a combination of machine stitching for stability and hand stitching for texture and visual interest we quilt our layers together. We then wash and dry the finished product to enhance the quilty, crinkly goodness with a good dose of vintage vibes.
A super snuggly personal quilt. Looks great in the lounge room or thrown over a bed or anywhere really!
This unique quilt measures 56' x 58' or 142cm x 147cm
We recommend cleaning your quilt on occasion by washing on a cold gentle cycle. Line dry or tumble dry on low for super crinkly feels.
The nature of hand dyed indigo fabric is to fade over time. We think this only enhances the lovely vintage feeling of this type of fabric.
